Tragedy is a modern hardcore punk band, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but currently residing in Portland, Oregon. The band formed in 2000 and was born from the ashes of influential modern hardcore bands His Hero is Gone and Deathreat. Biography
NASUM (NAW-ZUM) was formed in 1992 by Anders Jakobson (guitar) and Rickard Alriksson (drums/vocals) with the intention of creating true, straight-forward grindcore in the old NAPALM DEATH tradition. By the Spring of 1993, guitarist Mieszko Talarczyk would join NASUM and soon become an essential member of the band. After two and a half years of sharing records with others on split releases, Poserslaughter Records offered the band a mini-CD release. Biography
In 2005, David Sullivan, Maurice Bryan Giles, Aaron Beam, and John Sherman consolidated their powers to form RED FANG. They played their first, legendary show on the final night of that year, welcoming 2006 with buckets of sweat and splinters of destruction. Formed as a Bay Area punk rock band called Asbestosdeath, the band changed their musical direction and name and debuted as Sleep with their "Volume One" album in 1991. After Justin Marler left the band, the core lineup of Al Cisneros, Matt Pike and Chris Hakius went into the studio to record a demo cassette that they sent to Earache Records. The recording was released in November 1992 (exactly as received by the label) under the name "Sleep's Holy Mountain" and went on to forever alter the musical landscape.
